Back in 1903, E.R. and Fred Austin opened Austin & Austin Real Estate, offering real estate and auction services in Colorado. In fact, they were in the national spotlight when they sold the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show in Denver in 1913! After World War II ended, E. R. Austin Jr. opened Austin & Austin in Greeley, where the company is headquartered today.

A Family of Local Agents
An Austin family member has been involved with the company since its inception over 100 years ago. E. R. Austin, Jr., after serving in the Pacific in WWII, opened a Greeley office not too long after the war and then moved himself to run it in the early 1950’s. His stepson, Bruce Willard, went to work for the company after his Air Force service in 1987. Bruce’s daughter, Kristin, went to work for the company in 2012 and his other daughter Natalie went to work for the company in 2015. Every other broker at Austin & Austin is a multi-generational Northern Colorado native, with a number having family ties in the local area well back into the 1800’s.
The past two and a half decades have seen Austin & Austin continue to grow throughout the region, while still offering Weld and Larimer County residents the same level of knowledge and commitment that have characterized the firm since the year the Wright Brothers took their first flight and Ford became an automobile company.
